but he has a point regarding the competitiveness of the league as the old firm are scottish football and the winner of the league always comes from those two,at least england is a 4 horse race not just 2

I agree with you to a certain extent but considering the SPL has 12 teams and the Premiership 20,is it really that much better than ours.

To be honest not that long ago the English League could have had its winner out of at least 9 teams but sadly i agree its only 3 or 4 now.

The World FA must be to blame for the gap thats showing now in football and not just in the UK but all over Europe as many leagues now are only being won by the same small handful of teams each year.

It is the allowing of rediculous transfer fees and greedy agents that mean only the really rich clubs can afford the best players and the outrageous wages that go with it.

I know its hard to curb what people earn but the World authority really has to see that this is going to hurt more in the long term than do any good.

Bringing back the 3 foreign player rule wouldnt go a miss either as to be honest many teams are now guilty of fielding a team of non uk players nowadays and that also isnt healthy either.

The more it goes on then the more teams who cant compete financially with the Man U's Chelskis and Arsenals of the world are going to find themselves farther in debt.

I watched a darts match the other night and the commentator actually said that darts was taking over from football as the main sport for spectating as more people are finding it too expensive to follow their teams with the rediculous gate prices and season ticket prices,so they are moving more to darts as these guys are just like the average man in the street that you can go have a pint with and not 100,000 a week earning primadonas.

I actually can relate to that as even being a season ticket holder i can still spend upwards of £50 on a matchday and even more on away days when travelling gets taken into it.I guess most of you guys are the same or even more. And if a mid-week game is also included its well over a £100 a week on just 2 games of football.

Its certainly not family friendly anymore.

To be honest its going to eventually push the bigger clubs from each country to want to have a super league of their own and the rest will be left behind or go bust.
