Celtic and Rangers in the prem? - Page 4

i think celtic and possible rangers should b in the premiership cuz its getting boring no celtic and rangers only winning the spl every year the other teams will never have a chance

Can someone please tell me why the Premier league clubs would want to admit Celtic or Rangers.

They do not need the Scots fans to fill their ground. Their stadiums are usually full so the introduction of the Scots teams would make no difference at all. So it would make absolutely no difference to Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs, Aston Villa etc if the old firm played in England.

In addition, if Celtic or Rangers shifted league they would be required to start at the bottom and work their way up. They would not be allowed to start in the top flight and thus would not have access to the same money that the top flight teams currently have. Would they be prepared to take the chance that it might take a good few years for them to climb their way up to the top flight. I think not.

Lets just concentrate on making football in Scotland a better product and stopp all of this absolute nonsense which appears to be peddled by people who have obviously 'Not thought it through'

at the end of the day everyone thinks of rangers as a bigot affair but theres more pride and heritage at rangers and celtic than probably every premiership club.

i would not for the life of me want to see rangers r celtic anywhere near it it would simply mean theyre comercialising themselves for money.

our roots are simple we hate them they hate us our divide is simple a tricolour and a british flag thats what makes this the best and most intense rivalry in the world..

The reason others don't want Rangers or Celtic in the Prem is because everyone knows they would canter past their middle of the road clubs. Rangers and Celtic are known world wide, and would soon be able to sign the players they should attract. People don't want the old firm in because they are better than the vast majority of the middle of road EPL teams.

Tend to agree with vertigo which is unusual for me
It would be the death of scottish club football and the knock on effect of having few scottish players to choose from would end the same way as the english national team ,the old firm make up the majority of the team.
