To be honest,Scottish football is slowly but surely starting to creep back up to the way it was and i feel in the not too distant future we may have a few more teams challenging for the league up here and not just the Old firm.

To be honest that day cant come quick enough for me,as its nice to win league and cup after league and cup but it is a bit repetitive, with only Rangers giving us any sort of trouble and i no doubt think if truthful about it most of their fans would feel the same.

It has been 23 years since another team has won the League bar Celtic or Rangers and i would rather have 5 or 6 teams all fighting the bit for a top slot here and improving our FA's finances than having the Old Firm leaving and just about killing our game off to line the English FA's pockets.

Thats not a slight on England as they have as i said in a previous thread, the best league in the world at the moment, and dont need us if truth be said to make it better but we do need the Celtics and Rangers of this world in ours if we are to get back to the good old days of the likes of Aberdeen,Dundee Utd and Hearts all being contenders and Aberdeens winning Cup Winners Cups and Super Cups and Dundee Utd getting to UEFA Cup finals and European Cup semis (only to be cheated out a place in the final if i may add).So in a way i really dont hope it ever happens as i feel if that day comes it will be a case of last one out put out the lights and lock up the padlock on Scottish Football.

They should let them into the League and F.A. cups first and see how they go.

Once again that will not do our FA any good as all profits still go to England.

If that were the case of a cup competition, then what about a British Cup.

A Bristh cup competition might be a good idea but as far team from the SPL coming into the EPL i'm not in favour of that :cheesy:

I believet hat Celtic and Rangers should play in the Premiership. Look at the success Celtic had when they play teams like Barca or Man U, they win. Obviously not this time around again Barca but last year we beat them on both legs. I strongly believe that they would do very well in the top flight of the English leagues.
