Thats the question many will being asking of the Yorkshire Lillywhites after two defeats in the last thre games and a draw against a lower ranked team in the FA Cup of late..Leeds and Dennis Wise have done well to recoupperate the minus 15pts they suffered at the start of the season to be looking at pushing for one of the top two automactic spots, but to what i have been hearing and going by the match reports to Millwalls 4-2 defeat at Elland Road most of these results they have been getting to record all three points have been rather fortunate rather than Leeds actually steamrolling the division....... Are the players and team finally getting to complacent to their whirlwind start or is it they no-longer feel they need to prove one or two things no-more? My personnal opinion is that after starting the season -15pts adrift from the rest, they had a collective view that this doesnt matter as we know we are better than the rest anyway, giving them the incentive to go out and prove it........and credit where credit is due they did and in having proved the points deduction doesn't alter their posistion as one of the stronger teams within league one, they have become complacent in their league standing, and though they have not really played their best in any game their desire to prove their point enabled them to snatch the games to claim all 3pts. Now the point proved what can we say attitude has set in the type of games Leeds were stealing maxium points from they now find themselves losing and the sudden fact of reality has hit them square on.......that this league is not no push over like many a team have found out to their own perils in the past like my club Millwall did. VERDICT:League One football next season too! Lets just see how many others think this or have other thoughts on Leeds recent run of games........it will be interesting considering all the praise and admiration Leeds were getting earlier this season as they ran up the table. |

I hope they're just going through a rough patch. After pushing so hard i find it hard to think they will just stop winning. I think they will be near the top of the table definataly, but am not sure if they will manage to get back into the premiership. I think having those points deducted at the begining of the season really set them back (as it would any team).

Theyll go up and to be honest theyll be back in the premiership as theyre too big a club not to.

| Graphics Mod ![]() Supports: Millwall Favourite Players: teddy sheringham, neil harris | You're there vertigo,i would never enjoy a season falling away at the end, would always prefer start,or mid season so-long as its not a bad run. But as its in question whether Leeds are just on a blip and will still go up or whether they have finally found how hard this league is and will stay another season at this level. So feel free to vote even if you dont post, its open for ten days only...........so why not lets see how many reckon on first option:Promotion......or second option:staying in lge1... :10/10: Its Poll Time :woohoo: |
