as from 2010 there will be no intertoto cup & the uefa cup altered.

5 places will be disrupted by 15 teams from leadin nations and the rest contested by teams from uefas 40 other nations.

qualifacation is goin to change as well with only 22 teams earning places- based on league finish and a two part tournament for the rest.

and last but not least the champions league final will be played on saturday as part of a revamp of uefas cup competion.

I have to say, i think it's a mistake moving teh final to a saturday. On the plus side, i think that Scotland now merits one automatic entry to the group stage
